Our History

Welcome to the website for Conconully Bible Camp.

Conconully Bible Camp is operated by the Okanogan County Holiness Association. The campground began in 1924 so it is rapidly approaching the year of its centennial. It came into existence as part of the Holiness movement in the early 1900’s. There are many Holiness Campgrounds still in existence even though the original organization no longer exists. The structure is non-denominational, and many different churches and denominations are represented on the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors are completely voluntary and operate according to the by-laws of the organization and the laws of non-profit organizations.

As a Bible Camp, we believe in the Bible as the authoritative word of God. We take to heart the Great Commission found in Matthew 28. In the words of Jesus, the Son of God, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”  We believe this to be our task so we work to establish a place where people can go to hear of the grace of Jesus Christ and his love for all mankind. Conconully Bible Camp is a place where people can grow in their relationship to God and their relationships with each other.

As part of our work, we maintain the campground which consists of an RV park, cabins, an open-air tabernacle building (for large group meetings), and a dining hall and nursery. We offer a Family Camp the 3rd week of July every summer and we rent the facilities to any Christian church or para-church organization subscribing to our requirements of holiness. We do not rent to those in opposition to Christian values and Christian living. Our RV Park is open to individual renting and use. We do require no use of drugs, alcohol, or tobacco. We encourage people of Christian background to use the park and facilities for their personal growth. We find the camp to be a special place to meet with God away from home, work, and the cares of life.

Conconully is a small, old mining town in the hills north of Omak, Washington. It has two lakes which are irrigation reservoirs for the orchards of the Omak-Okanogan area. It is in a picturesque setting with ATV riding, fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling the local activities. The Bible Camp is an important part of the community and enjoys a positive relationship with the city. We work to maintain this relationship and ask that those who come do the same thing. It is a great place.

RV sites:

We have RV sites in three different areas of the camp.

In the Sanctuary area, west of C Avenue, we have 21 sites, all with water, power, and sewer.  #19 and 20 are 50 amp service and the rest are 30 amp service.

  • Trailers sized 30 – 35 feet or less will fit in sites 18, 19 20, and 22.
  • Trailers sized 25 – 30 feet or less will fit in sites 21, 14–17, 6 – 11, and 1-4.
  • Trailers sized 20 – 25 feet or less will fit in sites 12-13, and 5.

Sites 13 and 17 are middle-of-the-row sites and we recommend choosing those two sites if you are part of a group so you can arrange to have those RVs arrive first and leave last.

In the Refuge area, east of C Avenue, we have 16 sites, all with power.  Site #1 has power only and can get water from post #2.  All other sites have water and sites 6 A & B have sewer also. These are 30-amp service.  Sites 5B and 5D are pickup camper sites only due to length.  All other sites will accommodate large RVs.

Our Back Row area, on the north end of camp, adjoining Silver Street, has 7 sites.  All sites have power and water and sites 2, 3, & 4 also have sewer.  Site 7 has 40 amp service.  The others are 30 amp.

    Doctrinal Statement

    Okanogan County Holiness Association

Mission Statement: To create and maintain an environment of spiritual growth and discipleship.

    1. We believe in one God—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
      • cf. Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 1:21&22; John 1:1-5; Genesis 1:1
    2. We believe that the Holy Bible (Old and New Testament) is divinely inspired, infallible, and contains all truth necessary to Salvation and Sanctification.
      • cf. 2 Timothy 3:16&17; John 17:17; Deuteronomy 4:2; 2 Peter 1:20&21
    3. We believe that man is born with a fallen nature and is, therefore, inclined to sin.
      • cf. Romans 3:23; 1 Corinthians 15:21; Ephesians 2:1&2
    4. We believe that the impenitent will be eternally lost and without hope.
      • cf. Matthew 25:31-46; Romans 6:23, 2:5
    5. We believe that Salvation is accomplished through the redeeming act of God in Jesus Christ, and by the seeker receiving forgiveness of sins through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
      • cf. Matthew 1:21; Luke 24:46-48: John 1:1-5, 16:7-15; Romans 3:25&26; Philippians 3:9; Colossians 1:13
    6. We believe that Sanctification is the work of the Holy Spirit, by whom the consecrated Christian is cleansed by the shed blood of Jesus Christ in heart from inbred sin and empowered for holy living and service.
      • cf. Ephesians 5:26&27; Romans 6:22; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; Romans 15:16; Acts 26:18; 1 Corinthians 1:2, 6:11
    7. We believe that both salvation and sanctification are maintained and will grow through willful conformity to the Word of God as the revealed word of God.
      • cf. 1 Peter 1:1&2; Psalm 119:11-16; Romans 6:1&2
    8. We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to one’s Salvation and Sanctification.
      • cf. Romans 8:16; Ephesians 1:13
    9. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will return, the dead, both just and unjust, will be raised; then, final judgment will take place.
      • cf. Revelation 20:11-15
